Make a silver ring. Have a good conversation and leave with both.
Come and sit with me at my worktable and make a piece of sterling silver jewellery from scratch.
You do not need to be creative. You do not need any experience. You just need a willingness to have a go.
Together we will measure, shape, file, solder, texture and polish silver into something you will take home and wear. There will be flame, a few new skills, probably some laughter, and hopefully a lovely few hours away from the usual pace of life.
The ring is part of it.
But so is making something with your own hands. Sitting at a table. Having a proper chat. Doing something different.

One-on-one at The Table $299 per person
A private two-hour workshop for one person.
Available weekdays between 9am–5pm
This is a lovely option if you would like a quieter session, want to learn at your own pace, are buying an experience for someone special, or simply feel like doing something just for you.
You can choose to make:
- Three sterling silver stacker rings, or
- One thicker hammered statement ring.
I will guide you through every step from your first piece of silver through to the final polish.

Bring your favourite people together for a relaxed, hands-on day around the table.
Perfect for birthdays, mothers and daughters, sisters, a girls’ day, or a group of friends wanting to do something more memorable than lunch.
Everyone will make their own sterling silver jewellery, choosing either:
- Three sterling silver stacker rings, or
- One thicker hammered statement ring.
No experience is needed at all. I will take everyone through the process step by step, so even the person who says “I’m not creative” will leave with something they have made themselves.

Experience needed
None whatsoever. This is for complete beginners.
What to wear
Comfortable clothes, closed-toe shoes and hair tied back. Bring reading glasses if you normally use them for close-up work.

Nothing but yourself. I will have everything else ready for you.
A little note from me
I have watched enough people sit down at this table to know that making jewellery is never only about the jewellery.
Sometimes people come to celebrate something. Sometimes they are nervous and not sure they are creative enough. Sometimes they just want an afternoon away from their normal life.
Whatever brings you here, I will make sure you feel comfortable. You will be looked after, shown exactly what to do, and leave with something that is completely yours.

Do I need to have made jewellery before?
Not at all. Most people who come to The Table are complete beginners.
Can I book a group of fewer than four people?
Weekend private group workshops have a minimum booking of four people. For one person, weekday one-on-one sessions are available at $299.
Can I book for more than six people?
The table is designed for small groups so that everyone gets enough guidance and space. Six is the maximum for a private group workshop.
Is this suitable as a gift?
Absolutely. A workshop at The Table makes a beautiful gift for someone who would rather have an experience than more stuff.
What happens after I enquire about a group booking?
Send through your preferred weekend date, your approximate group size and a contact number. I will come back to you with available dates and the next steps to secure your booking.
